Vissim secures VTMS for 2 ports in Indonesia

Vissim bold move to venture into Asia is paying off, with a forth port signing in Indonesia. Vissim software solutions are becoming a favorite, as proven recently by our latest contract with Vissim partner WKJ for the Port of Teluk Bayur and Port of Balik Papan, Indonesia .

The signing is a strong endorsement of Vissim software and the excellent support services by the team. Considering the tough competition, Vissim securing this contract has shown that its latest VTMS5 software is well accepted within the Marine and Port industry.

The maiden contract in Indonesia was secured back in December 2015 with Port of Makassar , while the second agreement came from Tarakan and this year Balik Papan and Teluk Bayur. Teluk Bayur is the largest and busiest port on the western coast of Sumatra, and is operated by the government owned company PT (Persero) Pelabuhan Indonesia II .

Teluk Bayur Port could accommodate more than 4,000 containers, and is equipped with 12 docks.
