JOB SUMMARY:

The Proposal Manager plays a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales process by supporting Key Account Managers from the early sales phases through to bidding and closing. This role involves defining, packaging, and documenting Vissim Solutions to ensure clear, compelling, and structured communication with clients. Additionally, the position acts as a bridge between technology and sales, ensuring that proposals, pricing, and sales materials align with customer needs while leveraging the latest technology for efficiency. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage complex bids while maintaining a strategic focus on business growth.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Solution Definition & Packaging: Define, structure, and document Vissim Solutions to ensure clarity and consistency across sales activities.
  • Sales Efficiency & Technology Integration: Drive the adoption of new technologies and tools to enhance sales effectiveness and streamline workflows, through AI proposal writing boost efficiency, enhance compliance and improve proposal success
  • Sales Material Development: Create and maintain customer-centric sales materials, including product descriptions, data sheets, and presentations, to support KAMs in their sales efforts.
  • Customer References & Case Studies: Develop and manage customer reference lists and success stories to strengthen the credibility and appeal of Vissim Solutions.
  • Proposal & Pricing Templates: Design standardized templates for technical and commercial proposals, ensuring consistency in pricing structures and value propositions.
  • Bid Management: Oversee complex bids, coordinating input from various teams to ensure timely, high-quality submissions that align with customer expectations and company objectives.
  • Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and sales, to ensure alignment of solutions with market demands and customer needs.
  • Market & Competitive Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to refine sales strategies and positioning.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: University of Technical specialization. 
  • Experience:
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience with several vital product areas within the portfolio, both functional and technical.
  • Experience from customer implementation projects relevant for the company’s business areas.
  • Experience in technical infrastructure components that are most vital for the product architecture.
  • Skills:
  • English – Upper intermediate (B2) – written and spoken.
  • Excellent communication & coordination skills.
